ABOUT
This documentary is aimed to give an open and unbiased perspective on wilderness therapy, residential treatment, and the programs across America that “rehabilitate our youth”. It is of the upmost importance to us in telling this story that we do not approach it with a fixed perspective. We want to tell the story in a way that allows our audience to curate their own opinions and ideas about this industry.
We want to expand from the traditional documentary style, one boring interview after another. We want to engage and connect with our audience by not only interviewing but also implementing a wide range of scenes, reenactments, and real videos from the process and experiences of this industry.
Being that we are two independent filmmakers embarking on a journey to tell thousands of people story we want to open up for all the help we can get. We are very close to securing the last things in our budget. With equipment and schedule ready to go we are working on securing a Production Found to transport ourselves and our equipment to the programs across America.
We are also calling on our friends, peers, and anyone in or out of the film industry that is interested in being a part of this project in front or behind the camera. We can’t do this alone and it is very important that we create as much of a community as we can with this documentary to help tell the story and succeed in creating change. With this documentary and the help from affiliated reporters, we hope to spread the word about the treatment industry and educate the public while helping it succeed in the way that it has so much potential to do so. We’ve all heard the horror stories but it’s time to step back and take an outside perspective that’s not trying to attack either side, but instead educate people so that we can work to do better and make real change!
Thank you for taking your time and interest and divulging into our project. If you’re interested in helping or participating in anyway please do not hesitate to contact us!

HOW YOU CAN HELP!
With this documentary, we aim to create change and open up a safe space for a community of people to heal, express themselves, and make this industry better. This is not something that we can do alone. We are calling on friends, family, peers, staff, and anyone interested in the true story behind this million dollar industry.
I CAN HELP FINANCIALLY:
If you’re able to donate, financially, to the Production here is what your donation would go to.
A large part of filmmaking is budgeting and marketing. With all of our equipment and locations ready, we are looking to finalize by securing a production van. This will allow us to transport ourselves and our equipment across the United States to our various filming locations. The rest of the budget will go to paying actors for scenes, expenses for the trip, distribution for the film, editing, color grading, music, and everything that goes into making a film!
HOW CAN I HELP FINANCIALLY?
There were few different ways that you can help financially from simply donating money to entering to win different prizes to receiving various credits (ie: executive producer) see the bottom of the page for our Donation link.
HELP IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA:
We want to tell the story from all perspectives, giving truth to each persons experience. To achieve this we need to interview past students, current staff, past staff, family members, friends, etc. If you’re interested in being interviewed or auditioning for a role in one of our scenes please reach out to our email.
HELP BEHIND THE CAMERA:
Since we are traveling across United States we want to keep our crew small. This means that in each of our locations we are calling on you guys to help us behind the camera. Whether you have experience in film or you’re just interested in being a part of the project we encourage you to reach out!
